Abdullahi I. Musa is the University Librarian Kaduna State University Library System and Services, He was a former Interim University Librarian of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Library Services, and the Former Head Department of Library and Information Science Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He has a PhD in library and information management (with a concentration in information systems) from Emporia State University in Kansas, and graduate-level degrees in information science and business administration.
Dr. Musa has been a visiting scholar with the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science, Emporia State University Kansas, and The Mortenson Center for International Library Programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has taught courses in information studies in the United States and Nigeria.
His primary research interest is health information behaviors, specifically health epistemology and health ontology, and information behaviors of people suffering from chronic illnesses. He is also interested in social informatics. In the last 10 years Dr. Musa has visited over a dozen libraries and library-related institutions and agencies in the US to study best practices in library and information services.

Magoi has worked in various sections of the Library as Head Viz; Collection of Development, Reader’s Services, Responsible for departmental library Services. A member of various committees and currently Chairman, University Library Seminar \ Publication Committee.
Magoi has attended conferences organized by Library professional bodies both local and international. He has publications at both local and international journals to his credit. An active member of the Nigerian library Association and no the incumbent Secretary, NLA Kaduna State Chapter, and many other Associations within and outside the State. Magoi is currently undertaking his PhD research on: Social Media Authority in Nigerian University Library Services at University of Malaya, Malysia.
